“Keep playing music; it keeps you sharp and young! I sang those songs at your age!"
St. andrew's branch
Hi everyone, I am Kavya Srinivasan, a sophomore at St.Andrew's Episcopal School. When the Club Fair takes place in September please look for me. I am really excited to start the St.Andrew's Branch of Harmonies for the Elderly. Music is such an important part of my life and I am so happy to be able to make others happy with my music.
My brother, Keshav (LASA Branch), and I are planning a lot of things for this year and we need your participation!
If you are a string player, flautist, pianist, guitarist or singer at St. Andrew's Upper School and would like to join us to make a difference in the lives of some elderly people, please fill in the Contact form or email me firstname.lastname@example.org. The music is not difficult but it is not for beginners, so if you are not a somewhat experienced musician already, maybe joining us next year would be more fun for you.
We will be meeting during our assigned Club time at school.
I am planning for our group to perform one Saturday a month at a memory care facility in town. Participation in all performances is not mandatory, but it sure is fun!
Performances may count toward service hours.
